Introducing: The Romanticizes
A series of weekly exercises to bring out your inner romantic.
When I was asked in this interview if I romanticize my life, my lengthy (and enthusiastically affirmative) reply ended with, “You're the main character in your life—why not lean into it? The world would be a better place if we were all more aligned towards wonder.” A healthy dose of romanticization has kept me afloat through all the ebbs and flows of this wondrous human experience, and thanks to Instagram my solitary pursuits have become a bit of a calling card. So I thought: why not turn my penchant into weekly prompts that will help others slow down and find peace and beauty in the everyday?
And so The Romanticizes was born. Every Wednesday, I’ll post a low or no-cost creative activity and will detail how I interpret it, as inspiration. Think: outdoor adventures, kitchen witchery, moon and sabbat rituals, writing cues, craft ideas, and more. Beyond the thrill of seeing how all of you enact the exercises, I’m also excited that this series will make me a co-participant. I’ve experienced first-hand how transformative it can be when you devote time to embracing intentionality and curiosity, and I hope these prompts allow us all the ability to see the magic in the seemingly ordinary things that surround us.
I’m truly excited about this series and am grateful to everyone who joins for the journey. Look out for the first post this Wednesday, October 5th!
